SILENT TRACK

Developed by Corus Rail and ISVR Southampton University, to reduce freight traffic noise pollution, the HYPERLAST™ polymer encapsulates tuned sound absorbers that are either attached to the rail before installation or retrofitted in service. Test track results show noise reductions of around 6dB.
